The story begins with "Q-1 Grand Prix," a live television quiz show where contestants compete for a 10-million-yen prize. In the highly anticipated one-on-one buzzer final, an incident occurs during the last question. In the tense silence of the studio, Kizuna Honjo, facing off against the protagonist Mishima, slams the buzzer before a single letter of the question has been read—and somehow gives the correct answer. In any quiz, answering correctly with zero letters revealed should be impossible. So how is he able to answer correctly? As the mystery deepens, every viewer becomes a "participant" in the game.
