Rosamunde Pilcher: Herzwellen

After graduating from a London hospital, internist Dr. Henrietta “Henri” Anderson must first practice as a country doctor in Cornwall for five years to fulfill the terms of her scholarship. She feels held back, and her fledgling relationship with her fellow surgeon, Dr. Edward Walker, suffers as a result of the move. What Henri doesn’t realize is that her new boss, Dr. George Randall, only considered her application because he mistakes her for his daughter from a brief affair.
