Due to a mistake, he never received a gift from Sinterklaas when he was a child. To get his revenge, he has created Moepies, a new kind of cuddly toy. Kornee orders the funny Moepies to steal the presents from the children's shoes. When one morning not only the presents but also all the shoes are gone, the Petes are blamed.
